Perhaps I should clarify:

When you mount an HFS volume with the intention of exporting it over an
Appletalk network using netatalk, you must pass the kernel module the afpd
option, i.e. 'mount -t hfs -o afpd /dev/somedev /mnt/someplace'

Also, I have noticed that the HFS support is somewhat broken in kernel 2.2.=

WRT exporting volumes with netatalk under certain conditions. 2.2.14 works =
ok
though.
