Linux 2.0 and Zip drives?

G'day

I do so quite often, by just mounting the zip drive with hfs as the file 
system!
i.e.
mount -t hfs /dev/whatever /mnt/zip

Do you have a parallel of scsi zip drive??
Perhaps it is something to do with that??
