But when I try to install configure exits with an error: id3tag.h was not found you must first install libid3tag before you can build this package I'm confused. Any help would be appreciated. I'm running CentOS 5 thanks -bg ----- Bill Goldsmith Radio Paradise www.radioparadise.com From vengeance.storm at gmail.com Sat Dec 12 17:36:48 2009 From: vengeance.storm at gmail.com (Xingzhi Pan) Date: Sun, 13 Dec 2009 09:36:48 +0800 Subject: [mad-user] Problem with madplay installation In-Reply-To: <7FB0ED03-107F-47D9-B224-87F26791C071@radioparadise.com> References: <7FB0ED03-107F-47D9-B224-87F26791C071@radioparadise.com> Message-ID: <841721380912121736q377b981m2c52f0e284a0a00f@mail.gmail.com> Hi William, I'm not familiar with RPM systems since I'm a Debian guy, but maybe you can use yum or locate/find to make sure that: 1. libid3tag.h exists somewhere on your system 2. it's in the right directory However I don't understand what is "install configure". Did you try to install libid3tag with "configure and then make" and it failed? Then why you said you have installed libid3tag successfully? Did you just download the source? Thanks for your response. ----- Bill Goldsmith Radio Paradise www.radioparadise.com On Dec 12, 2009, at 5:36 PM, Xingzhi Pan wrote: > Hi William, > > I'm not familiar with RPM systems since I'm a Debian guy, but maybe > you can use yum or locate/find to make sure that: > > 1. libid3tag.h exists somewhere on your system > 2. it's in the right directory > > However I don't understand what is "install configure".
